August 6th ,2016 – Day 1

This is our mission team for Sri Lanka. We departed Singapore happy and excited!

We had to take a six hour bus ride from Colombo to Trincomalee. It was bumpy at times but we were all smiles. Why? Air con.

By the time we reached our destination it was past sunset! We went for a nice dinner then turned in. All ready for Day Two!

We have arrived in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka! As we embark on this missions trip with the hope of bringing the gospel to each and every single soul we teach in VBS, pray that our “faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power” (1 Corinthians 2:5b).
